BUILDING A NEW LAKESIDE COMMUNITY
Over the next eight years, Lakeside Development will create a new neighbourhood of 1,650 high-quality homes on the edge of Lake Waikare. Lakeside's location combines the best of town and country living, with brand-new homes in a picturesque setting, close to an established, friendly rural town and within commuting distance of work in important employment hubs in Auckland and Hamilton.
STAGE BY STAGE UPDATE
- Stages 1 and 2: Home construction continues, with only a handful of lots remaining for sale.
- Stage 3: House construction has begun.
- Stages 4 and 5: Civil construction of lots is complete, ensuring a pipeline of homes for the coming years.
- Neighbourhood playground: The third and final neighbourhood playground is expected to be completed in December 2026.

LAKESIDE ROCK PAINTING CHALLENGE
Calling all creative minds! Whānau of all ages are invited to collect a rock from the Lakeside office, paint it, and bring it back. Your painted rocks will then be hidden around the community for the Treasure Hunt. Get in amongst the fun; there are many prizes to be won.
